Sea Isle Texas
September 14, 2006
West of the town of Galveston and Jamaica Beach, you'll find the charming neighborhood of Sea Isle. Although still located on Galveston Island, it seems a world removed. Considered by some to be the western outpost of the island, Sea Isle is a relaxing and quiet neighborhood, and it aims to stay that way. Historic Galveston is on the eastern tip of the island, and exists by the widely known name "The East End." The East End is developed, and its Victorian homes evoke another era.
This is not true in Sea Isle. Sea Isle was developed much later than the town of Galveston, and as a result, you see houses of different sizes and architectures, all coexisting peacefully. As a Galveston real estate agent, I work with people who have all kinds of requests. For those home buyers who really want to feel removed from urban civilization, I recommend Sea Isle.
About 20 miles from town, Sea Isle is by no means remote. But separating it from the East End is Jamaica Beach, and that natural wildlife barrier does limit the number of tourists who cross into Sea Isle. Life in Sea Isle is very simple and natural. If not for modern amenities like clocks and cars, one might lose a sense of time in a place like this.
Many of my clients are looking for this type of a lifestyle, and I show them Sea Isle. It pays to know of little-known enclaves like Sea Isle, Texas when you're a real estate agent. Because I focus my concentration entirely on the Galveston area, I am as familiar as anyone with its more secluded areas.click here to search Sea Isle real estate through the MLS.( use Major west end in the area search to find Sea Isle properties)
