Many are beachfront and offer unparallel views of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Not only are the views amazing they are priced right as well. When you look at the going rate for beachfront hotels, a stay for 6 at a Galveston condo can be very affordable. If you have 6 guests in a condo that rents for $1000 total a week, it amounts to $23 a night per person. What a deal. Of course the other benefit is the kitchen. A full kitchen can be a blessing on a vacation. So now that you see what a great deal Galveston, TX condos are, lets look at some of the common hot spots for vacation rentals. One of the nicest condo complexes around is the Maravilla resort condo complex. The stucco exterior and red tile roof give the complex a tropical feel and is perfect for enjoying the island lifestyle. The complex sits close to the end of the seawall and is very close to some new and old Galveston attractions. Within walking distance lie the Galveston fishing pier, the movie theatre, putt putt golf, and of course the seawall is right there as well. Close by are also three of Galveston Island’s most famous attractions: Moody Gardens, the Schlitterbahn water park, and the Galveston flight museum. This complex alone could take a week to explore, and is only about 5 minutes from Maravilla. If the East end shopping and strand are more your style, the drive is still no more than 10 minutes. If you don’t feel like ever leaving the complex that is okay too. The complex has 3 pools, a hot tub, and workout facility. One of the pools has its own Island and swim up cabana. This area would be perfect for a large event or gathering. The pools are surrounded by lush tropical plants including date palms, fan palms, and sago palms. During the summer months the complex is in full bloom with oleanders, hibiscus, and much more. The hot tub is the perfect place after a hard day of vacationing or a great way to end a long day of relaxing.
